报告人简介 ：

Richard (Rick) Dixon：美国北德克萨斯大学教授，美国科学院院士。1976年获得英国牛津大学生物化学博士，随后在英国剑桥大学从事博士后研究。1988-2013年，在Samuel Roberts Nobel Foundation ( 研究所) 的杰出教授和植物部的研究主任。2004年被牛津大学授予科学博士，2007年当选美国科学院院士。现任5个国际著名刊物的编委，发表论文450篇，包括在Science, Nature, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (8篇), The Plant Cell (7篇), Trends in Plant Science (3篇), Annual Review of Phytopathology (2篇), Plant physiology, The Plant Journal, Molecular Plant, Current Opinion in Biotechnology, New Phytologist等；主要是从事植物天然产物合成机理和木质化研究。

刘成刚博士：1995年获得北京林业大学硕士，1998年在中国科学院植物所获得博士，2007年在University of Texas at Austin 获得第二个博士，2008-2009在University of North Carolina, 2009-2011在Pennsylvania State University, 2011-2013年在 Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation 从事博士后研究。2013年起在University of North Texas 担任研究助理教授。
